What is the Greater Grandville Rotary Foundation?

The Greater Grandville Rotary Foundation

  • Is a 501(c)3 charitable organization that adheres to the motto of Rotary International, which is Service Above Self;
  • Helps the greater Grandville community by supporting educational, health, and safety initiatives;
  • Works alongside the Grandville-Jenison Rotary Club in its fundraising endeavors to benefit local charitable causes.

Applications are available from amy.henrickson@gmail.com and are considered in June of each year. Recipients of funds from the Greater Grandville Rotary Foundation are required to account for the funds received in the form of follow-up reports, photos, videos, site visits and related communication.

What are we trying to achieve?

  • Provide a sustainable funding source for worthwhile local projects
  • Provide a means for systematic investment and stewardship of the Grandville-Jenison Rotary Club’s fundraising efforts
  • Provide a means for Rotarians and others to contribute to a 501(c)3 organization to benefit the local community
  • Create more awareness of what the Grandville-Jenison Rotary Club does, especially for the local community
  • Exercise better focus for and control of funds dedicated to the Grandville-Jenison Rotary Club’s local philanthropic goals.
  • Ensure that local projects receive similar attention and effort as Rotary’s national and international projects

Are you looking for a meaningful way to honor or memorialize a loved one? Having a difficult time finding the perfect birthday, wedding, or holiday gift for the person who has everything? You can make a gift to The Greater Grandville Rotary Foundation in that person’s name and let your gift help to build a better community. When you make an honorary or memorial gift, The Greater Grandville Rotary Foundation will send a letter to the recipient or the recipient’s family to let them know of your gift. The amount of your gift is not disclosed. We also will send an acknowledgment and tax receipt to you, the donor.
